DR. GREG FRANKLIN, PE

Dr. Greg Franklin, PE is the founder of the company and serves as the resident engineer. Dr. Franklin oversees all aspects of the technical operations, including performing technical studies and protection system design and implementation. Dr. Franklin has extensive electric utility industry experience, as well as extensive academic experience in the field of power system protection and control.

CHRISTOPHER J. MELHORN

Chris is the Director of Client Relations at PSStech. In this role, he is responsible for developing and nurturing client relationships with existing and potential clients. His team oversees project management and development of the Open Phase Detection System including manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning under QA/QC process controls for the nuclear industry. Prior to joining PSStech, Chris served in various roles at EPRI including Sr. Program Manager and Account Executive. As an Account Executive, he managed client relations with eleven major U.S. Electrical Utilities with a $20M research portfolio in power delivery and utilization. He developed and nurtured client relationships with existing and potential clients in order to proactively identify existing EPRI products and solutions that could be positioned to meet and exceed client needs. As a Sr. Program Manager, he was responsible for overseeing EPRI’s Energy Delivery & Use, & Health Environmental Sciences programs in the Environment sector. Research areas of responsibility included T&D ROW Environmental Issues, EMF and RF Health Assessment, and Occupational Health and Safety research areas.


DEVIN DEAN

Devin Dean, Technical Manager,  is a highly qualified computer scientist. Mr. Dean oversees the computer networking and telecommunication aspects of projects, as well as custom software development. Mr. Dean has extensive experience in civilian and military communication systems, as well as extensive software development experience.


STEVE VANDERSLICE

Steve Vanderslice, Director of Nuclear Processes and System Qualification, brings over 40 years combined experience from Commercial and Navy Nuclear Power, primarily in I & C and electrical system design. He has both developed and implemented safety software life cycle and non-safety control systems analog to digtal conversion in accordance with IEEE-1012 and govening specifications.  Mr. Vanderslice has performed design calculations for power up-rate projects, instrument uncertainty and plant safety related Reator Trip and ESFAS set points. Additionally, he was a member of plant design and I & C startup staffs during the construction and startup phase of commerical nuclear utilities.  Prior to PSStech, Mr. Vanderslice was the North American Engineering Manager/Invensys Nuclear, and Senior Engineering Manager of Safety Systems, Invensys Operations Management (IOM) for Nuclear Projects supporting the design and implemention of Invensys Triconex Safety System technology.
